Um. The show didn’t say androgynous characters had a disease that put Desmond in a wheel chair. And there were all sort of characters that were jokes too, not just the mermaid sisters, just like the fire bros, the old lady, ventriloquist and the native Martian. People born on mars are called “native Martian” yet having “mars androgyne” is a problem? 🤷♀️
